Are Apex lowering springs decent??

I was recently on mossmini.com and found some Apex lowering springs for a great price, Has anyone had any experience with these springs or know if they are a decent spring? I would like the H & R's but money doesnt come easy these days and for the price the Apex springs are looking like my choice. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I went with the Texas Speedworks lowering springs and have no regrets with them. Performance and looks at the same time.

Actually, I was very sceptical of these springs when I first saw them. These are very good springs. I first put them on my 2003 R50. When I traded that in for my current R53, I went on ahead and got another set. Now mind you, they are not comfortable. You feel every bump, but they keep the car planted. I'm also assuming that you have an R50, with 6 years experience with these springs, I'll be honest with you, these springs work great on an R50.

The springs would have, but when I traded it in I didn't swap back to stock springs. I just ended up buying another set. What year is your R50? If it's after 2002 then the springs will swap out between cars. 2001's had a different spring design. Good luck!! Hope it works out for you getting the S!!

did you just swap out the springs?
or did you have to get wheel spacers for that much of a drop?
