JCW World Championship 50 - Inskip MINI Showroom - Rhode Island

Was at INSKIP MINI in Warwick RI today. My BCM had to be reflashed to enable the key fobs again.....

Anyways, while there I took some quick pics of a few cars on the lot....To my surprise, there was one MCS NOT originally slated to be sold here in the USA.......Not cheap, but then again what is these days.

So the US cars do not have Nav? that's disappointing.

Nice looking car though!

The paint color of this MINI is awesome too.

From what I understand and have read......at least for 1st gen MINI's, owners with factory NAV had a bit of a love/hate relationship with it. Update disks were difficult to load, and hard to come by at times.

Could be it was an attempt in keeping costs down too ? GP was a bit barren as well.

I have Nav in my 2009 and had it in my BMW... will not consider another car without it. Too bad because this is a looker!! The euro models have Nav too, which is what surprised me.

I wish I could earn a living just driving around a race track.... then I wouldn't have to care about having nav.

Any tips?

No Sunroof either, I prefer that way though. I would order with out a/c, nav, sunroof, sound deadening delete.

Best part of the onboard nav is the spedo looks better with the pointer on the outer ring.
