hi just wondered if any one can help the emmisions light comes on when driving stays on for a few days then goes off for a few days there is no difference while driving look forward to any of your feed back on how to cure this thanks in advance

 

Do the easy stuff first.
Check the gas cap to make sure it is on correctly. That can set the light off and it will reset with a certain number of cycles (can't remember right now).
Also you can go to your local AutoZone, Advanced or other parts store and have them pull the codes from your car. The more specific code will give us much more to work with.

 

The Gas Cap Idiot Light will go "Off" after 5 Engine Starts!! Don't ask me how I know...STUPID Oregon Pump Jockey!!

 

Thx for your reply started the engine five times and it went out how long for i don't know is there any permenent cure for this look forward to your replies

 

No permanent fix that I know of...just make sure you hear those 'clicks' when screwing the Gas Cap back on.
