My 2005 Mini, like I'm sure most new minis, have the automatic window drop option to allow for easier closing and such of the doors. I'm having my windows tinted tomorrow and want to be sure the entire window gets covered. I can't seem to keep the window up all the way when the door is open, even by holding the switch in the up position. Anybody have an idea how to override this option or a way to manually roll the window all the way up with the power off? Thanks.

 

There is a small sensor that is inside the door latch. You can trip it by using a screwdriver. I watched the guy do it before when he tinted my windows.
