A Question Regarding Gasoline Brands and Distribution
A Question Regarding Gasoline Brands and Distribution
Years ago when the tanker truck came to deliver to a major brand gas station it displayed the same brand name. i.e., a Shell truck came to the Shell station, the truck that delivered to the Mobil station was a Mobil truck, etc. These days it is always a generic local distributor truck that seems to show up at all and any stations. I never see a major brand oil company truck any more. So my question is this. How does one really know what you are getting? If major brands such as Shell, Texaco, etc are supposed to be "top drawer" and contain special additives, how can a consumer feel confident that they are actually getting what they pay for? They could be putting anthing in the tanks.
