Sales numbers are reported based upon the body style, not the trim level. JCW numbers would be included in the above based upon the body style.

MINI may further break these totals out by trim level elsewhere, but the numbers I posted are what was publically released by them today.

I wish I could see the just-a-cooper numbers from '08 - '09. Gas prices in '08 finally allowed me to convince my wife that we had to get rid of the Chrysler mini van and let me commute in the MINI. I would guess that there were lots of "me" out there then, but not so much this year with gas prices coming down.

Interesting that convertibles are up for 09, especially December. Wonder why?

Good deals to be had as the 2010's had just come out. Our dealer here is offering $1500 off all 09 models right now.

My Husband just said tonight "we got Molly at just the right time!!", as we were fueling his Gas Guzzler.

April '08, we got rid of a '99 Chevy Blazer, High Mileage and even poorer Gas Mileage. We now carpool in Molly and can't wait to be able to get rid of our Gas HOG '01 Dodge Durango, hopefully December of this year.

I see gas prices are inching up and News is we will see peak prices beat 2009's High Fuel Prices. MINIs numbers for 2010 may come back up if this happens!!

As much as I want to see MINI be a successful breed, I'm OK if we don't take over the world. Not that I'm sayin' we don't deserve it, cuz we know we do, but I like having a car that may be the only one in the parking lot.

Any way to further break down sales? Region or territory sales figures?

MINIUSA sales down 2.2% but MINI UK was up 66.6% for December, selling more than in the US!
