Take a look what I got from MINI
8 ball here, no WAY will I put it on my car.
I have to many problems with the local Barney's as it is!
Bought a BMW 335i about the same time this year as the MINI and BWM sent this, Well big white tri-fold box full of Cd's and books about the wonders of BMW (this is my 7th BMW) and they always send crap but this (CD) set is a bit over the top.
The MINI stuff has always been fun, Back in 2002-03 we (MINI owners) were all complaining about the cup holders and MINI just out of the blue sent all of us a MINI mug, I still have them .
I like the pen in this new kit. I think in 2003 the pen was one of those retro turn it upside down and stuff moves thing , It was fun too.
OP, Wonderful PICS!

Two years after my 2007 MCS was delivered, I get (yet another) message from MINI saying something like, "We hear a new MINI is coming your way." A stencil for MINI parking sign was included. I think I've received three of those. No Adventure kit.
Oh, and I signed up at the MINI Lounge in 2007 as soon as I had my VIN.

I dropped my car off at the dealer today and they gave me some freebies that aren't spectacular but still kinda cool:
1) a "whiptastic handling" shiny simulated metal sticker for the boot;

2) a veiny eyeball gas tank lid decal;

3) a "Hammer & Coop" t-shirt iron-on patch

and then a silly little "MINI Roof Design Generator," a window sticker about a MINI iPhone app, and a cardboard hot cup sleeve.

Like I said, nothing major, but better than nothing, right?

I'm looking at it now. It seems to be primarily for roadside assistance. Anyway, the address for it is:
roadsidemobile.com/min
It's available for iPhone and Blackberry.

Last night i received a "mini parking only" stencil in the mail along with a note saying "we heard a rumor you were going to get a mini soon" but I did not purchase a mini! I would like to very much but have not yet. The closest I've come was emailing a man at my local delearship regarding test driving one. ( but I never test drove one)
are they trying to torture me or is this a surprise present? Haha help!

On the inside cover it says:
"Over the ages, world travelers from Marco Polo to Christopher Columbus to Lewis and Clark have had the foresight to record their experiences in journals. And in the grand days of motoring past, it wasn't uncommon for your motorcar to be delivered with a journal tucked into the glove box. Maybe they figured that a machine capable of moving faster than a horse was certain to deliver a few good stories. Or maybe they just knew that in the countless hours you and your car spend together, you're bound to come across some things that are journal worthy. When you do, take a second to write them down here. Because on rainy day many years from now, you might find it all very interesting reading."

I have a red T-shirt with this MINI outline on it.
Just one of my desk toys. It's a 1/24th scale poseable toy I bought in Japan. Since it was going to be in the photo by virtue of location, I posed it. There is way too much crap on my desk for me to pile stuff away and clear off spaces just for photography.

I thought hard about asking for compensation but eventually I figured that
1) it wasn't that unique of a photo,
2) how many photos of MINI speedometers are out there for them to choose from, and
3) how many other MINI owners would kill to have MINI use their picture in an ad or something, so why not let them use it gratis?
(My photojournalism instructor almost hit the roof and thought I should have asked them for money
Oh well, he drives a Prius and wouldn't understand.
)So they emailed me a Photographer's Agreement and I let them use it. (Actually, looking at the agreement now it says that it's for "Motoring Hearts related advertising", huh.) But when I got my Adventure Kit in the mail after ordering my 2008 Cooper S, as soon as I saw that photo on the mousepad I knew it was mine.
) all across the US.
I use the note pad all the time. My pen sucked the big one though. I keep the note pad in the saddle bag that is almost always with me. It is filled with all those stupid ideas and thoughts that I get through out the day pertaining to work mostly but also my car, tattoo ideas and general BS.

, that's pretty awesome, miniglenn!
