I know the first thing I did when I got Forza 3 was to get a mini and make it identical to my real one outside. I was wondering if anyone else wants to get together and race our minis on forza from time to time. If you are interested, my xbox live gamertag is Gig3mAggi3s .

And if you have not bought Forza 3, its one of the best racing games ever to hit the Xbox. You get to race an '03 R53 and an '08 JCW. Ive already decked mine out with my custom graphics and of course, an actual size sticker.

 

How detailed can you make the car? Is the physics engine any good?

I play a crap ton of Gran Turismo 4 and I'll probably buy a PS3 just for Gran Turismo 5. Coincidental, my brother has the 360 in his dorm room.

 

I'd say the physics are better than gta's and I'll def be picking up a ps3 just for gt5 too. forza's minis feel prity close for me

 

It's awesome. Add a CAI and street exhaust, plus a rear swaybar. Tune the swaybar to be super-stiff, add a bit of camber to the rear wheels to combat it, turn off stability and traction control and....LIFT OFF OVERSTEER!!

Sorry, just dreaming about what's happening to my JCW when I'm not broke anymore...

im on my 4th xbox now and im just scared to use it anymore.

my ps3 is solid with no break down issues
its a bummer cause i really enjoyed the forza experience.
hopefully gt5 will be out before 2012

 

Just bought it about 20minutes ago, about to do the 1st race. I played the death out of the demo.

 

I'm beginning to feel that pain, I had mine for just over a year, always thought "I'll be lucky since it's a newer system," but nope, nobody is immune from it.

Damn you Microsoft. If the PS3 had more games I enjoyed, I probably would have taken that route. Fortunately it should be covered by the warranty, so I'll hopefully get it repaired, RROD is covered for life now (according to what they said when I checked my warranty status).

I'll be joining in within a month or so... just in time for my MCS to arrive.

And yeah, the graphics engine is superb. I too have always been a huge GT fan but I think Forza tops it. You can do so much more customization to your cars in Forza Vs. GT. Plus, the damage is a very nice bonus. Makes it much more sim like.

crap. I had an existing profile that I began yesterday. I didn't sign up for live with that profile.
I just now signed up for live and it created a new profile for me. Trouble is, I can't use Live with my original profile and on it had I had over 400k credits and like 14 cars. Am I seriously going to have to start all over with this new profile...? if so, that just really sucks...

 

 

Yeah, Forza is just holding me over until 11/10 also. Can't wait for MW2. I still need to get the last few trophies for a platinum in Uncharted 2 before it comes out.

Sooo I was almost done with the game and my roommate decided to put the xbox live subscription we split on a new gamertag...now I gotta start over, AND with the gamertag "UrMumsAScreamer".

Oh well, add me if you dare having friends with obscene gamertags. I'll be playing a bunch now to level back up, splitting my time b/w MW2, Halo 3 , and FM3.

On a happier note - Motegi SP10s are in the game! Awesome.
