According to this article, the 1,500,000 "new" MINI has rolled off the production line!

Interesting, but I'm not sure about the bit which says:
"The Group employs more than 7,000 people in the UK, and its activities account for 1 percent of the country’s GDP."
1% of UK GDP is about 23 billion, I'm not sure about that.
