Hero MINI Driver in CA

I just saw this tremendous video showing a MINI driver pulling a 3 year old girl from a rolled, burning SUV. John McDonald of Covina CA, if you're on NAM, thumbs up guy!

BTW, nice looking MINI.

BIG props to John!!! SERIOUSLY!!!

But I am left wondering...Why did the mom leave her in the vehicle? I couldn't imagine leaving my child in a burning vehicle & running away...I would have never left without my daughter.

/rant--sorry

I was thinking the same thing, however you also have to think, she did say she couldn't get her out and saw John coming, so maybe she figured she could do more good from outside the car.
Idk, I am just glad there are still a few good people out there.

Ummm... sorry. I'm not usually the party pooper but... I don't think "John the Hero" drove the MINI. I saw this story earlier today. After watching it a few times (because there was a MINI involved)... the guy that drove the MINI was wearing a striped shirt. The guy that pulled the girl out had a light blue shirt on. The MINI driver just watched the other guy pull the girl out. Still give big props to John! MINI driver or not. And props to the un-named MINI driver who tried to help!

I thought it was pretty impressive that he parked his MINI that close to the SUV that could explode at any time. I saw other people just driving by... but THAT guy... that MINI guy (whoever he may be)... I think he would have been in there pulling the girl out had the other guy not already been in there.
