Preened & Pimped

Three very long days ( and a complaint from some pinhead neighbor with nothing better to do ) my '05 is off the jacks. Calipers and roters have been sandblasted, rotors turned and fresh paint on everything. She's all dressed up looking for someplace to go. Dragon's Tail maybe?

I'm hoping that within the next two weeks I'll have the Union Jack decal on the roof and the Union Jack mirror covers on order.

You still on the stock pads? Those freshly painted calipers will be dirty in no time. Looks good though.

I had 61K+ on the OEMs and I probable could have gotten another 20K out of them but they were squealing pretty bad. I replaced them with Wagner Thermo Quiet semi-metallic pads. The jury is still out as far as dust goes. We’ll see. Very happy with the quiet stopping power though.
