Wet Okole vs Coverking Seat Covers

Need some help on choosing a seat cover set for my Standard seats in a 2008 Clubman.
I checked out both but there is very little info and colors on the Coverking set.
Just need your advise.

Can't help much on the colors for the Coverking other than what you see at Moss is very close to what you get. I got solid black.

Quality wise the Coverking are very good. I have seen many sets of Wet Okole's and like them a lot. But I chose the CoverKing because of the lower cost. Currently Moss has the CoverKing's on sale.

I would not say anything against Wet Okole's but CoverKing's are just as good and for my R53 were about $100 less.

Gosh, I started a thread asking the same thing a short time ago. Here it is.

I ended up going with the Wet Okoles because I couldn't get rear cabrio seat covers from CoverKing. I did find out that the CoverKing covers come in two grades - the cheaper ones are made of something called "Neosupreme" and are touted as being an economical choice. They also make some out of actual neoprene, but the cost of those was actually a bit more than the Wet Okole neoprene seat covers.

Since I wanted front & rears, I ordered the Okoles. They had more color choices and piping options, and I knew they made rear cabrio covers. The color I chose (Royal) isn't a perfect match for Hyper Blue, but I like them.

I had Wet Okoles in my 06MCC and they functioned very well. They were cooler in the heat of summer and warm in the winter. Workmanship was excellent. However, my Red and Black combo became pink and black in about 18 months- even with using the UV protectant. So be forewarned.

Yeah, I've been warned they can fade.

I have a few questions Dr. Pepper, if you don't mind:
1. Did you use the Wet Okole specific UV stuff? And how often did you re-apply? I bought the kit (had to put it in a different spray bottle b/c the one it came in was pathetically ineffective) but I might try 303 protectant instead and re-do it every few months.

2. Did you leave the top down a lot? The other person I talked to who had Wet Okoles that faded said he had a habit of leaving the top down a lot. I'm in the habit of putting mine up when I stop because I am super paranoid about bird droppings/people dumping trash into/messing with my car. I also have tinted windows and I hope that will help keep them looking newer longer (although I wouldn't mind if they faded a slight amount - they are pretty bright).

Thanks!
