Every weekday afternoon, I'm faced with a dilemma: Do I turn right and take the 5 mile ride to the freeway with everybody else? Or should I go straight and take the back roads?
Since purchasing our first MINI about 2 months ago, I've been taking the second option a lot more often. About a mile into my drive, I pass a sign on the side of the road that brings a smile to my face.
Today, I stopped and snapped a photo of it. Thought it was too good not to share.

Take care,

Now that would be very cheery sight to see on the morning commute each day. Perhaps even career enhancing, too, if it gets you walking into the office w/ a big smile on your face!

Awesome photo.
I LOVE searching out the curvy roads on any and every trip. My boyfriend is efficient with driving (and he has a Honda) and is just starting to understand my need to seek out different and interesting routes. A girl's gotta enjoy her MINI! Corners and curves make my day.

I love this thread already!
I really want to nab one of the twistie signs and have it in my room. Here is my favorite pic so far.

If you notice there is a "Don't mess with Texas" sticker on the sign too!

*sigh* I really miss my to-and-from work route in Germany. it was in the mountains on the western border, and was a twisty dream. On the way home, the view opened up to a 12th century castle.
Just awesome.http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&tab=wl

What a great route for a MINI run! You ever get any local MINI clubs going through there? What a beautiful ride!
Yah i am really jealous of those roads. Texas (while the bomb in most areas) is lacking in some nice twisties. Up near Austin there is some great stuff but round here, its kinda flat.
Buzzcut, is that Oregon?

You must be commuting into Oceanside. I used to live in Fallbrook and used that road often.

Close... Temecula to Fallbrook and back. Not quite as fast as I-15, but much more fun! Lots of great routes for MINI drivers here.
