I too am stumped by what stripes to get. i have an 09 MCS in horizon blue. i picked him off the lot and he's nekkid. i want to get stripes but don't know how it would look. anybody have a horizon blue with stripes? pics please! what do you think of silver stripes?

hey thanks! only, i can't figure out how to change the car color. all i get is a black car.

 

i know it isn't blue but this is how it turned out after i put the stripes. It was the right move , I like it.

 

horizon blue / silver strips, flawless !!! seen them on hb/s clubman

 

sweet, i'm leaning toward silver. what do you think of carbon fiber ones? lame or what? i don't even know if they exist, i'm just thinking about what would look good next to that smoky blue color.

 

Carbon fiber stripes are just vinyl printed with a pattern to look like carbon fiber. Personally, I'm not fond of vinyl trying to look like something else. I would recommend looking at a sample before commiting to it. Some online supplies provide samples for a small fee.

 

I really didn't like the black OEM hood stripes, but wanted something 'sporty' - considered the center & viper stripes (in fact, peeled the OEM's and started to install black viper stripes)...

Finally decided on silver 'checkmate' side graphics (not the hood), on CR/B, mainly because (a) I liked it and (2) had the vinyl and an exacto knife sitting around (+ beer) - thought about doing more, but I decided I like the more subtle look (all the good stuff's underneath!)...

I have bonnet stripes and they are water spotted really bad so I am going to replace them and I am doing offset, one big, one small stripes that are white on the bonnet, blue on the roof and white on the trunk.
