I'm away from my MINI :(

I drove back to school yesterday, before roads got bad. Glad to be at school, but I'm away from my MCS. I have a downpipe and rear endlinks waiting to be installed. I'm driving a 1998 dodge neon down at school which I like just as much though. Miss the head turns I get with the MCS.

I had to grieve hahaha.

Good thing you can enjoy a Dodge. I would be damned upset if I had to drive a Neon instead of my MINI.

Oooooo this is why I drive across the country for Christmas and New Years. Must have my Mini at all times. An extension of body/soul. Plus borrowing my parents car or renting one is just ridiculous.....unless I could rent a Mini

My gma gave the dodge in Aug 07 to me right after I got my MCS since she didnt drive it for 2 yrs and she didn't want my new MINI to get messed up. I've seen some pretty nice cars (350z, Rx-8, sti, evos, lots of new gen bimmers etc) with dents and stuff on them from parking on the side of the road. Figure let the car thats worth nothing take the chance of getting beat up if I park it on the side of the road rather than the cool whip. haha So far so good though. No dents or anything, I got it with a little over 15000mi. I'm approaching 26000. I wish it was a stick like my MINIhaha. I actually thought about putting a CAI on it I found one for 70 bucks.

I know how you feel. I have to do the same thing, except I have nothing else to drive instead of the MINI. My MINI stays uninsured during the months I'm at school. When I come home for Xmas break I don't insure it because the roads and weather are so bad when it snows. All I can do is come home every once in a while and rev her up in the garage, get the motor going, turn the tires a little That makes the summer driving all the more fun!!

Mine's in the garage, but I may as well be away from it. With all they snow we've gotten the last few days, that's where it's going to stay. (I do drive it in snow, but we're getting about a foot at a time.)
