What does your license plate say?
I don't know. I owned a Solid Gold Cooper for 3 years and not one ticket. Not even pulled over once. I get the Jet Black Cooper S, and within a year, 3 tickets. Before you say it's because of the power difference between the 2, my driving style never changed. I do believe now that cops target black cars because they see it as the owner being an outlaw and rebel. This could be true in my case.
Different areas of the country, or even state, have law enforcement agencies that have differing, let's call them 'tolerances,' for various forms of traffic law breakage. As a generality, I have found that the more rural you are, the more strict are the local police forces. I live, and drive in, an area with a county police force, but on my way to work I pass through 2 or 3 incorporated villages, each of which have their own police 'force,' that you don't wanna sneeze the wrong way in. I work within city limits, and these guys have enough to do without worrying too much about the random, or not so random, traffic law breaker. These are all factors.

QXXOTIC
(Quixotic) Defined as:
In pursuit of impractical and unreachable goals a'la Don Quixote.
It's also a combination of
Quick and Exxotic
.....so it fits perfectly!

I'm thinkin either ZOMG or EPC MNI for mine. I'm getting really down to the wire here, I'll be picking my car up in the next week (I hope!)
Although my car will be Oxygen Blue in color and the mention of The Tardis really has me thinking.... I love me some Doctor Who....

There must be another factor because I've had my jet black '05 since new, and have never been pulled over and I'm not what you might call a 'sheep.' I take advantage of any hole I can get. Of course, now that I wrote that, I'm due for a light bar in my rear view any day now.

If big trucks are keeping up with you to the point where they are on your a$$, you are doing your Mini a serious disservice.
I suggest remedial motoring 101 classes.
My license plate reads, 2L8 ULUZ
