Weathertech Floorliners

If anyone is thinking about purchasing a set of MacNeil Weathertech Floorliners, I suggest buying them from realtruck.com. They were only $87 for the front set (with a coupon code lifted from retailmenot.com) and they come with free shipping.

The biggest difference was their customer service though. The order confirmation email told me that because of the Thanksgiving holiday the liners would ship on Dec. 5th. I called RealTruck first thing on Monday to see what could be done. I found that mats for the 09 Cooper are made to order and since production was shutting down, everything would be delayed. The folks at realtruck.com said they would try to pull a few strings spent pretty much the rest of yesterday calling MacNeil. End result: MacNeil shipped the liners overnight from Kansas. I live outside of Chicago and UPS has them out for delivery today.

So cheap price, free shipping (was ground, updated to overnight), and great customer service make me a satisfied customer.

Just to be PC -- I have no affiliation with realtruck.com, MacNeil, or retailmenot.com.

We purchased WeatherTech Floor Mats for Molly before she ever came home!! Glad you received such excellent service from an excellent Company. I've inquired about Vent Shades for the MINI and received a nice reply, but unkniown as to when we might have this option from WeatherTech. I will purchase from them again when ever the need may arise.

Jc whitney has the weatherrech floorliners front mats for for 68.99 and if you get them on thanksgiving day and use the promo code AEDALY8 you should get another 15% off. My only problem is that the mats are listed for 2002-2006 models. Will it fit a 2008 model?

Looks like those are just the floor mats. WT also offer a newer "floorliner" model that supposedly covers more of the interior. They don't stock those at JCW though, at least not for a Mini.

Anyone have experience with both products? I'm torn between the mats vs the floorliners. It seems like the Liners are more glorified mats than anything else but for an extra $50 is it worth it?

* $118 ($18 shipping) direct from WT OR
* $71 ($12 shipping) for the mats from JCW (found a $10 off $50+ promo code)

Spill anything and you will soon learn why the WeatherTech ones are the ones to get!! Keeping the carpet from getting wet and dirty are what the WeatherTech Floor Liners were made for. I won't every buy anything else!!

I have the weathertech floor liners for my Honda Pilot and they are great. Perefect fit and they will hold all the dirt you can throw at them. The liners are more rigid and tight fitting than floor mats.

I have no experience with the ones for the MINI.............yet

I was driving one day and kept thinking that the car didn't feel right. It just didn't seem to have much more than about 50% power.

After pulling off the road I found that my weathertech had worked its way under the pedal and wouldn't let it travel.

I must have put it in wrong because I can't even try and get it to happen again.

Not WeatherTech's fault...operator error.

so, update after over a month with them.. if anyone's on the fence about these, I gotta say... this is $99 well spent! Keeps all the water (and salt especially) nicely away from the carpet and they cover a little bit more of the interior than your run-of-the-mill rubber mat.

Haven't seen much in the way of a current thread on the Weathertechs, and no pictures of actual installs so I figured I'd resurrect this older thread.

I bought a 2008 Clubman 4 days ago and ordered my front and rear Weathertech Floorliners today. $250 all in (Canada - prices are higher). I'm confident I'll be happy with the purchase and will take some pics when I get them installed.

I did also confirm that the cargo floor liner is (naturally) designed for the US model Clubman, which comes stock with the raised floor in the cargo area.

Canadian Clubmans do NOT come stock with this - it's a $450 Travel Package option. Mine doesn't have it, so I skipped the cargo liner. I spoke to the R&D guys at Weathertech to confirm all this, and hopefully they'll put a little note on the Weathertech Canada website.

Also picked up my 16" MINI 5-star rims today for winter shoes. Now just have to decide on what rubber to run.

I have the weathertech liners, front in rear, in an 05 mini.

I bought these used, and they do fit perfectly. However, I have no clue what the deal is with the holes in the mats. The Weathertech site says the holes are for use in attaching to the factory hooks, but, of course, the mini has no hooks, only velcro disks.

I thought I could replace the velcro disks with hooks, but the holes in the Weathertechs don't even align with the factory holes.

Without knowing how to properly secure these, I can say that they are a nuisance any time the set must be slid forward or backwards. Because they aren't tight against the floor and are rigid, the seat rails always hit the mats and jam the mats forward or backwards, limiting seat travel.

They are great for keeping dirt contained, and I have no problems with them sliding around while driving.

Anyone know about the holes/hooks though?

If mine are like that and interfere with seat movement (which happens a lot in my car - my wife and I both drive it and she's 7 inches shorter than me, and my daughter climbs into the back seat often from both sides without opening the clubman door) I'll probably be having words with Weathertech and returning them.

I'm expecting pretty much perfection for $250 floor liners touted to be tailor made for the car.

I wish WeatherTech made the air/rain deflectors for the MINI.

Hi codster, and welcome to NAM!
I can't think of a solution but I was wondering if you could post pictures of them. I've been considering them for my '05 as well but don't want to make the rather expensive commitment until seeing exactly how they fit. Perhaps I can also help you figure out how the holes are supposed to help anchoring when I see them? At the very least, I'd be very appreciative of your trouble for posting pics!
Thanks!

My liners arrived this morning, as I was leaving for work. Planning on putting them in tonight and will put up pics. 2008 Clubman.

I asked Emily at Weathertech about the apparently useless holes, and she told me the liners come with hooks to install... not really sure how this works, unless they're velcro backed hooks for the mats to attach to. Seems a bit overly complicated, but we'll see.

I recently purchased the weather tech liners and NO CLIPS (Hooks) were included in the package!
