MINI E

What's up with the MINI E. They are looking for people to test the cars, but want to charge 850.00 a month lease fee!!!! And they state that not only celebraitys will be getting them. I don't know about you, but 850 a month ain't gonna happen even if there was no depression!

What's wrong with MINI? How are they going to get real people to test these things but putting it outta reach of the market of people who buy thier cars?

Oh, and to top that, if your house doesn't have the electrical requirements, YOU need to pay to them uprated!!!

Just my 2cents, and it's my last two!

Mr.Jim

It's called marketing! If they can get a celeb-utante to drive one they can use that as headlines and photo ops - and those types can afford $850 (assuming that MINI would even charge them) and are always looking for media attention.

The $850 a month helps makes up for celebrities who will pay $0 per month.

I know what it is called! But on the MINI site, it claims that they won't all go to celeb's! They should be paying us to drive them, NOT the other way around.
Cheers

That's a lot of money for a Mini with no back seat and with space in the back for only a couple of grocery bags.

Not quite as bad as it sounds...

Well, $850 is a lot, but that does include insurance, your "fuel" prices are cheaper, and you're in a very exclusive club

I don't have the money, the garage, or, having just bought my own MINI, the need for an E right now... it would be cool, though...
