Panel Filter Replacement?

I tried the search function, the manufacturer's website and google. How does one install a panel filter? Can't find the instructions.

Not sure what you mean by a panel filter. If you mean the cabin air filter, here's a link for Gen 2: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...t=cabin+filter
You can also find Gen1 references by searching for "cabin filter". If a "panel filter" is something else, please excuse my ignorance.

Panel filter = intake filter.

I think the owner's manual tells you how to change it.

That's the specific one. Pictures of installation? I'm a image/working kind of guy.

If I still had my stock intake installed, I'd shoot photos for you. But it's in a box in my attic right now.

Haynes page 1.14 or 4.A.2 .....

The air box is the box between the engine mounted positive battery lead, and the ECU...there's a large rubber hose running to it and held with a clamp.

To remove the cover you pull the battery connection up from the clips holding it and push it aside. Then undo the clamp holding the big hose to the front of the airbox, and pull the hose away from the box. Now the box cover can be removed....check for screws holding it down at the corners, usually there are 2.

Once the cover is off you can remove the old filter element. Check for other crud in the air box.

Reverse steps to re-assemble. One hint...I find the type of clamp used on the air hose to be a bit.. to get back on. Have a simple screw clamp of sufficient size on hand. I actually just use a good quality 'zip-tie' .... there's no significant pressure involved here...
