What does your card say?

Every once and a while, when I am browsing a thread I will see that people have said they left a card on another MINI as a form of saying hello there are other MINI owners out here. I haven't gotten my MINI yet,(ordering in December) but I am very interested in getting some cards made so I can return the favor to others. My question is as stated. What do your guy's cards say on them? Or is this not that normal of a thing and only a niche group of people have them?

Usually Mini Clubs give them out. I know So Cal Mini Maniacs gives them out. They have a spot for the member to write there name and has the club info. It's basically a recruitment thing haha

Actually, I used one today. One of my cards that came together with the pack says "Filled Your Meter For You." I was driving by and saw my friend's car parked at a meter that was flashing red. So I popped in 8 quarters (maxed) went into my glove compartment, pulled out that card, pulled out my own parking ticket from the bright orange envelope, stuck the card in the envelope and placed it upon my friend's wind shield. I should be expecting a call anytime now.

I had these made for our club at gotprint.com. It's only the white area that is the card. We place them in drivers window above the door handle with just the top showing above the inverted triangle.

I made my own at vistaprint - 250 for about $10. They have a picture of my MINI in the background and say something like "You've been spotted by fellow motoring enthusiast 'misslindsey' and her MINI Lewis. Come join the fun at MichiganMINI.org!"

A couple frineds and I have some cards coming from Moo cards, they have a card type called a minicard. That, along with them being printed in England, just makes them all the more mini like.

Check them out at http://www.moo.com/products/minicards.php

The cards are just a simple design to let people know that another mini owner appreciates thier car. It has some contact information as well in case they want to go motoring as a group sometime.

This is just one more reason why I love my MINI.

The really nice thing about the Mini cards from Moo.com is you can attach your Flickr Feed to them and get a wide variety of prints. They're a little more expensive, but also a little more unique.
