Renting a MINI in Europe
We've rented MINI several times when visiting the UK, it makes a vacation much more fun. But now we're thinking of branching out into Europe, so I'm looking for where we could rent a MINI (probably a Cooper-S) on the continent. We haven't decided where we're going, but France, Belgium, Holland, Germany and Switzerland are all possibilities, possibly further afield.
Searching around I've found Elite, they'll only do an MCS in Switzerland or Italy.
Anyone know of any others? anyone have any experience renting an MINI?

Sorry that I can't help you with answering your question, but if you don't mind me asking, do you have any advice/tips for renting a MINI in England? I plan on visiting for MINI United 2009 and would love to have a MINI with me for the trip :D
This place in Copenhagen, Denmark: http://www.rentamini.dk
Have used them myself. It's a very nice, high-street type outfit.

So far I've done lots of web searches to turn up rental places. So far I've rented from:
Avis Prestige at Heathrow Airport.
Miles & Miles in Central London.
Bespoke Highland Tours in the Scottish highlands.
Miles & Miles seem to run the Avis Prestige operation at Heathrow, so those 2 are somewhat interchangeable. Miles & Miles list MINI-1s as an option, I tried to rent one, they ran out and upgraded me to a Cooper. (I didn't complain too hard about that.)
Bespoke highland tours passed the rental off to Gran Turismo, who actually sourced the car from Eastern MINI in Edinburgh when Gran Turismo ran out of MINIs. I'd checked out Eastern on the web when planning that trip, they seemed a little expensive.
I might try Cool Cars 4 Hire, last time I looked they were cheaper than the others.
Currently, I'm trying to find somewhere to rent a Cooper-D.
By the way, MINIs especially Coopers/Ss are not cheap to rent. They're about 2-3x what I'd normally pay for a rental in the UK.
