Car covers and on-street parking: Trouble?
It could happen but I have been using a cover while my car is at work for years and it has not be disturbed yet.
So, my girlfriend is pretty dead set against the car cover. And I do not want to create a situation where she is proven right and I am proven wrong. So, I've scoped out the two spots on my block near my apartment that are not covered by trees which you can see here...
isn't that a mini just north of your mark on the map? Silver Roof, Silver Bonnett stripes? just park next to him.
I want a car cover to make my MINI look like an old rusted 1976 Ford Pinto

YO, in Philly, I'd be more worried about the drivers who park by braile. I live in "New Kensington" area and I had 2 gashes in back and 1 in front of a GP, from people bumping themselves into a parking. It is legal to "bumper car" your way into a parking in Philly. I think I know the truck that did the dent in the front, the neighborhood kids told me. Payback was I got a rental and bang there goes their fender...oops. I now park at the private school parking lot, with their permission of course, I like it cause cops nap or are on their cell phones their in the wee hours.
