I picked up my 2008 Clubman on Tuesday (8/12) and just noticed that my left rear "backup light" is a different color (red) than my right one (white.) In other words, only the right side lights up when I am backing up...not a problem during the day but perhaps one at night?! Is this normal or do I need to head back to the dealership?

Nope...there is no problem, that is just the way they are made... I had someone tell me one of my lights was out...and then I noticed there were 2 different colored lenses...so I called the dealership the next day. I figured they mixed something up over in the Uk or had a "early holiday" when making my car But I was assured by the dealer, that this is how it is...

Is the rear fog an option on the clubman? I am betting that there is one backup light and one fog light...?

That's the way it is. Nothing new though, as myself having lived in europe before, I can tell you I have seen '70's euro cars with one-sided fog lights.
