Oh yeah, the Turnpike is 55 around there, congestion city. Parkway has some 55 zones too, likewise in the congested areas. Hope the fine isn't too stiff.
That stinks. I'm waiting for the day that my luck runs out. I think it's been 18 years since I got my last speeding ticket.
If you want to test your luck try driving through Fayetteville, Georgia with out-of-state tags.
I was stopped for doing 38 in a 35 several years back and the only thing that got me out of it
was explaining to the nice young man that I was a former LEO and he was going have to explain
the accuracy of the non-existant radar in his cruiser to the judge.
He then told me to get out of his town and that I better not come through again.
Boy! Some places can really take you back in time (40-60 years for this town).

ha ha ha... nah I have no desire to drive through Fayetteville, GA. Locally, we have our own areas that are difficult, I just know where I can drive and where I can motor. And I want to make it to 25 without a ticket. A man can dream...
Have you guys seen the Volkswagen commercials - where the dealer is out test driving w/ potential owners, and they're commenting on the car, especially the "zoominess" and abruptly the next scene is a cop looking in the window at the guilty driver and dealer....the cop says, "How long is this sale going on, Jim? (or Phil, or whatever.) "It'll be over soon, Jim (or Phil, or whatever.)" THAT's how I feel about the MINI!!! I just hope (keeping fingers crossed!!) that the hubby keeps getting the tickets, and I'll keep doing the speeding. Inexplicable, since he "drives like Ms. Daisy" but...there it is!
