I bought mine off the lot..they gave me $1,000 off MSRP it had 1,500 miles on it. They even told me that they had 5 FIVE large guys in the car during a trip to NYC to the Auto Show! The extra guy was "stuffed" into the Barn doors! Bought Memorial Day, had to get the High Pressure Fuel Pump replaced, other than that everything and the Clubman works great!
My MINI had been brought into the dealership from another nearby (approx 30 miles away) and then the buyer flaked. So it had 47 miles on it when I bought it. 7 or 8 of which were part of my test drive.
4800 miles. Wait a minute you are talking new MINIS. It was new to us at the time. Previous owner didn't drive it much in two years. In the three years we have had it we're up to 55,600 miles.
You guys make me feel awful that I bought the dealer demo, but given the road trip that I had to take with the car after I bought it, I was glad that I got a car that had been driven around a bit...

Don't feel bad! My '04 MCS (my "starter" MINI) was a demo - and when I purchased it, I had to wait for it's demo contract to be up...they couldn't go above 3,500 miles. Which was STILL too much!! Anyway, when I got it, it was at 3,040.
It was new to us at the time. Previous owner didn't drive it much in two years. In the three years we have had it we're up to 55,600 miles.
