Does MINI cover shocks?

My MINI had been brought into the dealership from another nearby (approx 30 miles away) and then the buyer flaked. So it had 47 miles on it when I bought it. 7 or 8 of which were part of my test drive.

4800 miles. Wait a minute you are talking new MINIS. It was new to us at the time. Previous owner didn't drive it much in two years. In the three years we have had it we're up to 55,600 miles.

is it a common thing to test drive it to inspect it before signing the paper work.

This is my first new car that I'm buying, and never even thought about this , sounds smart:P

You guys make me feel awful that I bought the dealer demo, but given the road trip that I had to take with the car after I bought it, I was glad that I got a car that had been driven around a bit...

1074 miles.

Don't feel bad! My '04 MCS (my "starter" MINI) was a demo - and when I purchased it, I had to wait for it's demo contract to be up...they couldn't go above 3,500 miles. Which was STILL too much!! Anyway, when I got it, it was at 3,040.

My '07 MCS had 3 miles. Still too much!!!
