Week number?

I'd first like to introduce my self. My name's Matt Cooper (yes cooper is my last name, hence my name Coops Coop), and I'm from Southern California. I'm just a month short of 18 years old and have become attracted to the mini's, the S specifically. I just wanna say that it seems like everyone here is very helpful and I just wanna thank you in advance for any help with anything I may have in the future.

One question...

I've noticed people talking about week numbers. Are there better weeks than others? I read that 23 is the golden week but what's the difference between 23 and 5 or any other week?

Thanks guys

There is no difference really, it's just the week your vehicle is produced. What makes each week special, is the people you wait with. That's why 23 is great, it's got a great group of people.

Congrats on a great choice of a vehicle As far as the weeks go, it's just your production week, and with the way things are looking on the MINI lots, ANY production week is golden, because at least you have a timetable at that point for getting your MINI!

The local dealer has 0 (ZERO.) MINIs available for sale on the lot. There is a PW Clubman that is on hold that may fall through, but even while I was there about 3 different people came in asking to look at it since it was the last one. My Motoring Advisor (MA) showed me the allotment list. The next 57 MINIs they receive are ALL spoken for. The lot is essentially BMW parking at the moment.

On the positive side, MAs are livin large now One told me the set of folders (customer orders) in his drawer counted for an extra grand on his next paycheck.

Alright thanks!

As for no mini's on the lot. My local dealer calls themselves the largest mini dealer in the US. Not sure if it it true, but they have 35 or so mini's on the lot and always have people in there.

Thanks again

and Alpha, I'm in Orange, the city and the county.
