the comments from the article are pretty enjoyable as well.

one notes that it's a waste of resources to build the cars "here in the US" and then ship them all the way to germany. "why not just ship the motors to the US?" he asks...

wonderful.

on another note, i wonder if they will be able to keep the 4 seat layout. i believe there's a company in NY that already does the engine swap, but the back seat needs removed for some reason (batteries?) it would also be nice to have an electric mini that includes the factory warranty and an obtainable price...
