Hello all, I am in need of assistance, my husband is looking into buying a 2004 MCS, but I think it's kind of shady. Can anyone help me with checking the VIN number? If you can here it is: WMWRE33404TD88148

The VIN number matches, but my husband found it on Craigslist/Kansas and it had a different email address that he responded to. The lady that repied said she just got divorced and had no driver's license but was awarded the car. Plus, she did say she wanted to use "Ebay Vehicle Purchase Protection" to make the transaction. Does this sound like a scam? Thanks in advance. Jill

 

if you have to ask if it is a scam, then it would be better for you to look elsewhere. That way when you put your money towards buying one.. Used or new.... You will have the confidence in the purchase. Especially for ebay. If you cannot see it in person, look elsewhere

 

if it sounds too good to be true.. it probably is..

she will probably want a 1,000 dollar deposit via western union..
then it is a scam. !!

Yup, thats a scam! Thanks for checking here first before buying. Better to ask now rather than later after you're $1,000 poorer.
