Why can't one thread be sufficient and what does Warped1966 think 50 identical threads is doing for anyone here except **** them off and hope he fails dismally at his brief attempt at notoriety! Please moderators do something to block this inane posting!

To be fair, I only counted 42 - but I may have missed one or two. The reason the poster did this was to announce an event in the individual club forums for clubs that might be interested in participating. Some folks don't visit the forum daily and click "New Posts"- some just visit occasionally and check out their own club's forum, plus maybe a few others of interest. The only way to reach these users is by doing what the poster did. Is it really that hard to ignore? The vast majority will go stale quickly and disappear from the list...

That said, the ability to customize your "new posts" display (and the Pulse) to block posts in some parts of the forum "tree" would be a welcome feature... or the ability to select which club's forums you want to be visible.

looks like the agenda that this PR campaign is highlighting is an interesting one, and the target for benefit fund raising looks pretty darned worthy also
