Conversation in another thread has gotten me curious.

Of the first four OBC-scheduled services ("oil service", "Inspection I", "oil service", and "Inspection II"), how many of them did you get to before the standard service agreement ended at 3 years/36k miles?

If you remember, I'd also be curious to know the approximate mileage when each one came due, and whether or not you also got any "low mileage" annual oil changes along the way.

For my car, the first service ("oil change") came due at 12,400 miles, and the second one ("Inspection I") came due yesterday at 33,300 miles, with no low-mileage changes in-between, since I've never gone 12 months without an OBC-scheduled service.

That means that my standard service period will end in another 2,700 miles with me only having had two services at the dealer.

In fact, my 5yr/50k mile extended service plan (got it for free, thankfully) will probably expire before the third service (another "oil change") comes due, so I will likely go 50k miles with only two OBC-recommended services.

 

I think it has only been one so far, at around 16k miles. This on a 2005 S.

 

I was only able to get 2 on my '03 MCS... 36,000 miles in less than 2 years
