Where does this label go in engine compartment? Dip stick!

***Seems that I may have double posted the label question - sorry - newbie mistake. ***

I was cleaning my engine compartment and this adhesive sticker came off (pressure washer). Though I don't see it as a big deal, I'd like to put it back where it belongs since the adhesive is still good. Thanks in advance.

On a separate note. Is a broken dip stick handle common? I just bought this MCS two days ago and when I tried to check the oil for the very first time the handle broke due to materiel failure, not operator error. Seems that heat cycle from the engine made it brittle. I was about to remove it with a plier but when I reinserted it after adding a little oil I can't get it back out. Luckily warranty is good for 2 more weeks. I'm just curious if anybody else experienced this.

Thanks

Those little labels are all over the place - just manufacturing part labels for part ID in the factory... I have one turn up every once in a while and just toss them... I don't know of any way to find the "home" for that specific one...

I've heard of lots of folks breaking older MINI dipsticks...

boomersan... not sure if pressure-washing an engine is a good idea. There are many electronic parts and connections in the engine bay, and the high pressure spray may force water into those parts and connections. I always just use a mild cleaner and some clean rags, and I'm very careful around any of the electronic parts. I'd rather have a little grime than an engine that won't start!

You're probably right about pressure washing the engine. I normally wipe my vehicles' engines down occasionally but since I bought this Mini used and it probably had about 4 years worth of dust and dirt so I took the risk of pressure washing and survived. Hopefully all the water will evaporate instead of building up in bilges and starts rust. I'll probably toss the sticker since it's not a big deal. Thanks.

Twist the dip stick before pulling to help break the seal, then it should come right out easily.
