Sales up again. The clubman, plus the cost of fuel, plus the fact that the MINI just rocks, combine to increase the numbers significantly.

 

We were discussing the other day the enormous amount of investment BMW put into the MINI brand....first redesigning/updating a classic automotive icon from the ground up, then building (and relocating) the entire Plant Oxford facility.....then practically redesigning the entire car again (second gen), along with more updates to Plant Oxford and related facilities!!! Add to that all the factory variants of which there are now so many. Someone at BMW believed in the Mini to almost an irrational level it seems, and took what at some point must have been a risk, even if it was a calculated one. Glad it's paying off for them!!!!! It's fun, as an owner, to be part of such a fascinating automotive story!
