I just went to my local mini dealer (Huntington NY) to look at a 2006 Royal Grey Cooper S. The only options that it has are the color, armrest and 17" wheels. Nothing else was added. With only 7300 miles the dealer is asking $20,900. Does that seem good for a car with really no options or a bit high? I was hoping to get it down to around $19000.
Most dealerships mark up their used cars about 2k -2500. If you go in a offer 19k they will try to bump you up to 19500 or so. If you offer 18500 you may get it around 19k.
It's not certified so I'm going to try to go 18000 on it see if they'll go 18500. What's the worst that can happen? There's a lot of used minis in my area.
