Hi Everyone! I have a quick question that i'm hoping to get a good answer from. =D

Other than calling and nagging my MA -- Is there any way to track where my mini is after it leaves the distribution center in NY? 1866 ASK MINI cant give me anymore info since it left England and i wont know anymore through OL until it hits the dealership. I'm **hoping** that since we have a way to track the boat all the way across the ocean (including webcams!) that there's a way to track it once it leaves NY.

Anyone know?

 

The only way I was able to find out the status of my car once the ship arrived at the port was through my MA. Mini USA didn't know any more. Mine was delayed at the port so I did have to spend some time trying to figure out what was going on with it. My MA was the only person with information.

 

Looks like i will be calling and nagging my MA again tomorrow. =)

I have the same issue. My Clubman came in to NY port on 03/08, but the MINI Owner's Club and 1-866-ASK-MINI have no info after it sailed from Southampton.
My MA told me it would be at the dealership "some time next week", so that means about 8-14 days from the time it was unloaded.
When I ordered my Clubman on 02/15 my MA told me it would arrive in 4-6 weeks, so it's right on schedule. However, MINIUSA's much-touted "vehicle tracking" should be able to track every step, not just the journey from Oxford to Southampton!

 

As I understand it, once your Mini has reached the Distribution Center it becomes the property of the trucking company and is not trackable through Mini after that.
