Has anyone blown a shock over average sized potholes? I own a Cooper S with sports shocks and run flat tires which make the ride significantly harder. Inevitably on occasion I'll drive over a pothole which gives my car a disconcerting rattle.

My point is, I'm considering maybe switching to regular tires if these potholes are actually damaging to the configuration I have now.
