Not bad, for a 1/2 mile stretch... but the Tail of the Dragon would eat that for lunch. The Dragon has an average of 28.9 turns per mile, for 11 miles!
(Many people have heard the "318 turns in 11 miles" statement, but few have actually done the math to even wrap your head around just how twisty it really is...)
MiniDaMoocher, please please please trace your email back and give us at least a hint of where this is. I haven't been to the Dragon yet, but what looks unique here is that you can see all the curves- it's essentially a large slalom. Maybe the road could have been straight- but who cares when you're driving it?!
I don't care what continent this is on, it's going on my list of "roads to drive before I die".

I don't know any more than you do, but looking for it I came across this one called Stelvio Pass in Italy:
that looks like the road featured on top gear last monday night. they took an aston martin ultra lightweight coupe, a porsche gt3 and a lamborghini something or other and ran them around europe looking for the ultimate in driving roads. might be rerun next week. bbc america.
