General MINI TalkShared experiences, motoring minutes, and other general MINI-related discussion that applies to all MINIs, regardless of model, year or trim.
Since getting my Mini, it seems like I keep seeing Minis everywhere.....obviously, there is the Italian Job.....but I've also seen Minis on Scrubs (ok, so that's actually tv) and in the movie Hitch. I thought I'd start a post about where we see other Minis.
And I'm sorry if this thread exists somewhere else.....
I have watched the italian job 3 times in the last month waiting for car to arrive . It will get to Charleston 2/18 . Can't wait til then . I to have seen the Hitch and Scrubs minis .

Yep, but whats even better after you get your MINI is you'll be watching this movie, but when your watching it, you'll most likely be thinking in your mind, what cool car this is, and then think, yep, I finally have one! But, don't worry you'll still be watching The Italian Job a lot even after you get your MINI!
Motor On!
P.S. Have fun with your new MINI, I hope you have some cool adventures/memorable experiences with your new MINI! Motor On!
Last week while home sick, I was watching a bunch of Home Improvement and they had an episode that started out with a Mini on the Tool Time set where they were doing some work on it.
The first Mini I ever saw in a movie was 1987's Some Kind of Wonderful with Mary Stuart Masterson and a beat up Mini. From that point on the obsession started.
I was watching a recent episode of Numbers, and the girl who was the murderer was driving a MINI. I remember when I first saw it, asking, "Why did it have to be the villain?"
If you haven't watch the original Italian Job for 1969 it's worth watching too. Block Buster has it for $1.99. The original Mini do some great tricks.
I was really looking forward to watching the original Italian Job after watching, and loving, the newer version. In my opinion, the newer movie was much better and much easier to watch. The older one seemed to drag throuhout and take forever to get to big Mini chase scene(s).
I've seen this before but I still love it! Anyone know where I could get a copy of the actual magazine?? My family has been making fun of the Weekly World News for years!!
