Kind of reminds me of something that happened to me back when I had my focus.
The roads are 2 miles each, 55 mph, then 50 mph than then runs directly onto a freeway. On the 55 section a Subbie and some other car were doing 45 side by side for a mile, I honk a few times, one slows and gets over, so I begin to pass. The main jerk speeds up so that I have to accelerate way above speed limit to pass. Then a left turn and there is some traffic and I do what I can to get through to hopefully avoid these guys.
Later the main idiot catches up at the freeway and gets in front, I of coarse am done with this so I just move to the left, every lane change he moves. So before the next freeway interchange I merge all the way to the right, which he follows in front. At the last minute I merge back left, he had no choice but to stay on the interchange, and I was able to proceed normally down the freeway. He had rolled down his window and was yelling at me.

If everyone accomodates the d*ckheads, how will they ever change?
If one always "fights" them, then one has to change and lower one's own standards.
It's a no win situation. It sucks. The entitlement mentality (I"m better than others, so I'm entitled to be a *****) is rampant, and that's sad.

This is so true and a reality of our current society. Originally Posted by Dr Obnxs

It really is a no-win situation and unfortunately there seems to be no way to correct it.
Perhaps we need to scrutinize this more. As the old saying goes, Evil men succeed when good men fail to act.

All this rage talk reminds me when I was younger and more angry behind the wheel. Then one day I read that a guy was pissed off about letting another car infront of him on the exit from the Brooklyn Bridge. Normally traffic backs up and car try to cut in at the last possible moment. Well, this guy refused to let any car in front of him, keeping his bumper right close to the car in front of him. One of the driver's trying to cut in signalled, and started to squeeze in. The pissed off drive just refused to budge leaning on his horn until the driver of the car trying to cut in got out and shot him six times. Then the cut in driver got back into his car and drove on.
That is why I don't get into any confrontations driving anymore.
