I'm picking the little guy up tomorrow, but went to the dealer Saturday to get a sneak peek. Still in arrival mode, missing a few panels, door protectors on..

It was overcast, and my phone doesn't capture the greatest color, but it looks nice in the flesh!

I saw a Cooper in that color today in Seaside. It looked like it had plates on it (might have been custom ones).

Minidrivr, say it's not so, I was hoping to be the only Oxy Blue in the area for a little while at least..
Yep, rode the express bus up to San Jose early this morning and transfered to Santa Clara's transit , They dropped me in front of Mini of Mountain View. I spent most of the day at the dealer before finally getting behind the wheel, headed off to Skyline Blvd.
Did Big Basin, then finished down Hwy 9 to Santa Cruz.
Permanent smile embedded!

I was very close to getting BRG, in fact that was my first choice in colors, most likely with a white roof. During my research period I had a few people suggest to be to get a bright color because one of her friends had a dark Mini that's been hit twice, the second time only minutes after leaving the body shop for the first collision.
Anyway, that got me started on the brighter colors and a few years ago I bought a scale RC Mini in yellow, so that's where I went, particularly after I saw how dark the Mini BRG is. Turned out the dealer had this one in stock. It's got the right equipment in it, plus the tan Tuscan leather and "walnut" trim. The short of it is I'm really happy with it.
Here's a question for y'all: is it cool or uncool to get the Union Jack interior mirror cover for an all-MY Mini? Been debating it for awhile and I can't come to a conclusion.

Looks like this thread has been dormant for a while. At least since before I got my '04 CR Squared MINI. Was great to look at all the matching color MINIs shown. Especially while being stuck at work...
When my search started I was really into a CR/BK or PW/BK and that is where my search was centered. The white roof cars seemed too common. When I saw the pics of my MINI on cars.com I knew right there it was the one. Weird how stuff like that happens.
