Is it possible to contact the VDC?
Will do...the car got discharged from the ship today...so the clock starts today I guess.

Thank you. It's actually, for whatever reason, comforting to know there are other vehicles in the same situation -- if it were to be just my car I would have more concerns. I agree - its not my dealerships fault and know that I am dealing with the sales manager the communication is much better plus my sales manager has told me that they will be picking up the cost of my Areo Kit +install fee's.
I just tried to call someone up there in Mini,He's traveling,I am going to call the owner of my dealer to if they have any further info,this has been goin on for over three months now.I unfortunately bought a bunch of mods for the convertible that the dealer was nicest enough to take off my hands...by the way he has a JCW leather dash that I had them match the sidewalk color leather in the stiching...really pretty and unique,he also has my hood stripes matching the leather,fortunately the Hamann wheels I bought fit the new car...As I was plunking away Shep Nelson,the General Sales manager at Alexander called me back,he still has nothing to report and he been direct contact with the corporate people...I had caused a whole uproar about this 2 months ago through some contacts I had with BMW and it supposedly was going to light a fire under something,as you can tell it has done nothing...good luck with this ,I know how frustrating it must be...Take care

I am sure you will see alot of 07-8 convertible JCW's with nowhere to go....I have been told they are still working on the software??
