passanger side headlight staying on after car turned off.

Hi all,

When we turn our 2003 MCS off, the passanger side headlight and tail light stays on until you pull the e-brake on. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, is there a reason for this?

Thanks for all the help,

gbowman

Are you sure your parking lights haven't been accidentally activated? That would happen if either turn signal is activated using the stalk.

This does sound a lot like one of the posts I read in the "Things you didn't know about your MINI" thread. I think it is one of those things that it is supposed to do, for safety reasons or something.

If you park on the side of the road and want to leave one side's parking lights on, leave the turn signal activated toward that side. Shouldn't affect the headlight though...
