What would you do..
What would you do..
If you saw this thing coming barreling down the road.

My brother and his friend built it, and i had to take pictures so something of this magnitude wasn't lost forever. They tell me their more than happy to work on my mini for me.

So you gonna take 'em up on that?
How old are the budding carpenters? I've seen some commercially sold trailers that were pretty flimsy. But those were LIGHT and flimsy... making them OK to tow. For some reason that appears to me to be HEAVY and flimsy. Not a good towing equasion IMO. I give it <20 miles at speeds at or above 55 MPH.

The one is 23 the other is 26. And your right, it's heavy and a bit flimsy. Their trial test at 30 miles an hour made it look like the trailer was being towed at 60 on a bumpy road. And as for the offer to work on my car. They are to stay away unless they require a trip to the hospital with large amounts of body trauma.
niiice...brings back memories of a homemade trailer we built back in the 70's to camp at Watkins Glen for the 6hr/CanAm and F1 weekends. It was about the same size and slept 7 or 8 drunks.
We should have bogged it, but alas it became firewood at home.
