invisishield protection option?

On the miniusa website under protection it is showing invisishield as a $140 option. How does this compare to the 3m film?

Probably. I don't know if this is true for all dealers, but the one where we bought our MINIs just farms the clearbra work out to a local installer anyway. We went directly to the installer to avoid the dealer mark-up and had him do the install on our cars. His price was $450 for 3M film, and for that price he covers the front bumper, grille slats, the first 18" or so of the bonnet, the hood scoop, mirror backs, foglights and headlamps.
