I'm not sure if it's necessary to take delivery before you join the ranks. I think there's usually a span of time where requests are amassed, then there are a bunch of new members added all at once.

PS - The MINI you're waiting on sounds like a beauty. You're gonna LOVE that Rooster Red interior. Really spices things up! Pun intended.

well add my name to the list...2nd mini...first was lightning blue metallic (loved that color but they stopped making it) so i of course had to go with the MC Chili Red with black stripes just patiently waiting for it to arrive off the boat...

Wow! I know that MINIs get noticed anyway, but the CR/W has been starting random conversations since I took delivery only a few weeks ago. I've had to valet it a few times, and it's been great to watch the crowd as we all wait to pick up our cars at the end of the day. Boring car, boring car, boring car, Red MINI!

Motoring is fun again.
