Time to start doing all the things I gotta do because...my car's going to be ready late next week!
I've been procrastinating joining the Loyal Order Of The CROC (mostly because someone's already got the number I'd want (19) and I couldn't think of a good second choice), but the time for procrastinating is over! (And the time for panicking because I still haven't bothered to secure a loan or sell my car is nigh.)
I've got the grille badges, now make it official! Please.

Still waiting ...
... Alvin is chili red w/ white, but as of this writing he's still cruising the Atlantic. Do I have to wait until he's actually in my garage to join?
And for the record, it's been scientifically proven that red is the fastest color. I don't remember all the particulars, but it has to do with the wave length at that end of the spectrum. It's true ... my bike is red and it's faster than all the other colors (of the same model, anyway). You can even say "red" faster than any other color. That's why I didn't insist on BRG.

I'd post pictures, but my dealer's staffed by a bunch of cheeseweasels who apparently can't remember to order parts in ahead of time so they're ready to install when the car gets there. I'm sure once they've finally gotten the stripes in they'll suddenly realize they don't have the door sills either. I want my car! *angry fist*

My CR Chubby Clubby OTTO was officially ordered and I have a production number after my 2-year wait. So maybe the "Pending Arrival" will be off my official number of 292 by late February.
Now hearing of the limited availability of Clubbys this year I really worry more about him. Just have to put him in the garage every night. He'll be a friend to Buffy who already has full garage privileges.

I love red, not in all cars, but the MINI just screams for red. I ordered all the stuff from Detailers Paradise, red and black Coco mats, have a red and black dog bed for the dogs in the back and a red and black Retired Racer (Greyhound) badge for the front. The Chili Red has to be the prettiest red I have seen on any car. I sent out birth announcements with the photos of a red Clubby that I could scrounge up from the UK. Of course, everyone on my Christmas card list thinks I'm nuts and don't understand this love of this car, but who cares.... Life is too short. Live it with a Chili Red MINI. I know my husband wanted Lightning Blue, but it is my car and it HAD to be red.
Love this group too. Such great people. Now to order the official CROC badge for the front.

CROC #019 (I like the leading zero. It makes it seem like a secret agent which is appropriate since it's probably going to end up being named after Boris Badenov.)

Can I change my number from 0777 to 877, since no one has 877 anyway. I didn't realize someone had 777 when I chose it.
