May I claim #150. '06 Chili Red with silver top and "U" bonnet stripe. Carbon sideviews and JCW. Picked it up earlier this month and still have less than 700 miles on the odo.
I love my car.
It appears the offical Chile Red Owners Club has quietly surpassed all the other owners clubs of color. In a peaceful and humble way. And thats no CROC
Did not notice this thread because we have been out motoring since picking our MINI up ~2 months ago. OK, we have given it more washes than road trips so far, but that will soon change.
Thanks for your input on this. However, If you read through the entire CROC thread you will see that a new design has already been discussed and everyone wanted a redesigned look without a MINI image - a Crocodile was determined to be the hot ticket. I'm in the process of finishing this new design for us CROC heads. Rough version but in the works.
For an additional new //TSR badge design tease... If any of you CROC owners happen to live in Vermont we have just started a new Club. Our first autocross of the season kicked it off. (Manditory CROC content) I'm photographed trying to figure out which way to go...
snid's Velvet Red MINI Cooper taking a rest after hot laps and pulling off the TTOTDFMC (toptimeofthedayforMINICoopers).
Four lined up, three show though, flagged mirrors on the CROC La Roux and Velvet Red is in first!

Ok everyone...after abandoning this thread for a few days, I just updated everything. Check the list on the first page to get your CROC #.
As for #150...three of you requested it (mg5904, Bubba Sulley, Chili-S)...because mg5904 was the first to ask, they got #150. The other two, I gave you different numbers...check the first page to get them.
If anyone wants to change their numbers, post here or PM me.
Replacing my 03 PS/B MCS with an 06 MCS maybe DS/B,. alhough I LOVE Chili Red! I have it in my head that I can't drive as fast in a red car as in my invisible silver. Chili Red is so cool my wife calls it "Arrest Me Red".
What's your experience?

All of my cars for the past 10 years or so have been red. I don't think there is any difference. Whether you get a ticket or not mostly depends on the luck of the draw.
Another advantage to "arrest me red" is that it is also called "resale red". Watching the Barrette-Jackson auction, it was mentioned several times that some of the high dollar cars could have pulled another 10-20 thousand bucks if they had been red.
IMO the grays, silvers, biege, tans, etc. look too much like colors you would chose when picking out a casket.
Guess mine will be PW/B though, cause I do like that a lot.
