Our local Dealer had a party a couple of months ago with an Italian Job theme. Now they're getting ready to have a Halloween party; where, I think, owners are to dress up their cars. The invitees are mainly owners and even people who have recently taken test drives. Additionally, this dealer also assisted with a local MINI show. Definitely a lot of non-traditional marketing!

So this makes me wonder:

1). Do other dealer's do similar events?

2). If so, how often?

AND

3). What's the best event sposored by a MINI dealer?

 

MINI dealears (3) in our area (DC metro) co-host monthly breakfasts with DCMM.

Every now and then, they sponsored events. Like couple of months ago, MINI of Towson host an autocrossing school.

Last year MINI of Sterling sponsored track day at Summit Point racetrack. etc.

 

My dealer has sponsored a couple of lunches during runs, but that's about it. I wish they would do some sort of a BBQ every once in a while, just to draw MINI owners back in.

 

Our dealer (Mini of Pittsburgh, or MoP) does some open house events, and did a tire-test-drive wth a tire supplier a few years ago, but... they REALLY lay it on by supporting PittStopMini in our club events.
