Average age of MINI owners?
BTW, my first was a 1967 Chevy Station Wagon. Not exactly a car I would go crusing for girls with!

I'm 59. What's it to you, punk???? LOL Some damn funny comments on this thread. One guy referred to the "old generation" as driving Minis. Old is in your head not in your years. At 59 I look-um 59 but I feel like a kid and still act like one. And no the Mini was not a mid life thing. I already when through that phase with a string of Corvettes. The Mini seems to appeal to young, old and everybody in between. I know I'm enjoying mine and hope to be around as long as my Mini given I'm in the "old generation". When you guys in your teens and twenties hit your fifties, let me know how old you feel. Happy New Year and driver safe. Dan

I will be 46 in March, feel closer to 36.
When I was 16 I had saved up about $800 for my first car( I wanted the little yellow mini down the block). Dad wouldn't let me get it, said it was a POS and would just need work all the time.
I never stopped wanting that little yellow mini.
I finally got one and I'm STOKED !

Dave, your kind of sensitive about your age. Though, I do feel your pain since I'll be in the 50's club soon enough. My 09 MCS is definitely not a mid-life crisis thing. Before my MCS had an 01 C5 Coupe, prior to that a 2002 NHRA SE TA, 2000 Pontiac Firebird, and 1994 Firebird. Years before that had a 1977 Camaro. My first car was a 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger, followed by a 1971 Plymouth Duster. The other cars in between through the years were not performance cars. BTW, my wife [same age range] owns a 2004 Honda S2000. I really don't think age has a lot to do with an inclination towards sports/sporty cars.
Motor on & Happy New Year!
I'm 26 .. I saw my first grey hair in the mirror awhile back and decided it was as good a time as any to have a midlife crisis
Not really .. I'm just young, unattached, and in no need of a big car with more than 2 doors right now. The only people I ever saw driving my old car (05 Subaru Legacy GT) around here were little old ladies.. it was depressing, haha.

Hey Soldiernurse. First thanks for your service. I'm former miliatry. Secondly, I'm not sensitive about my age. The point I was making for our younger members is that you really don't change with age. At 59 I still drive a 40 Ford "hot rod", drive a harley Sportster, have a very modified SAAB Aero, and find myself not only wrenching on my toys but working with my son on his EVO auto X car. We never change in our heads, just our bodies seem to ache more in the morning and sometimes require that afternoon nap! Would I like to be 20 again, you bet. But 59 is not bad, heck it's the new 58!!!! Enjoy, Dan
