My warranty just ran out and my breaks need to be replaced just 4 weeks after my last service appointment (grr Mini SF).

Can anyone recommend any good mechanics? I live in Potrero hill and work in the Haight. I don't make a lot of $$, so price is a considration too.

bay bridge motor works isn't too far away, maybe you could try them. I've heard good stuff on this forum, but never went there myself. Maybe you can call to find out how much their rates are.
