No More MINIs

I've decided to let BMW/MINI know that it is time to stop building new MINIs. Scientific research has found that there are enough of them in this country and because of their poularity, have proven their point. Congratulation, Kudos, but enough is enough.

There is no need to continue production. BMW should focus on rolling out the new 1 series, and let the existing MINI community enjoy our lives without any more interference.

yes, because owning is more important to BMW than selling MINI's.

I don't think your misguided logic will impede BMW and its quest for profit. Is that you Chucky Schumer?

Using contextual clues only... I would say the definition is, "someone who plants their tongue firmly in their cheek while trying to say they have influence over one of the world's most powerful automobile manufacturer's to the degree he can get them to stop making a very popular and profit-inducing vehicle so that said cheeseweasel can continue to have a unique autombobile in his possession".

Then again, it might just be a word that Modnar made up and has no meaning whatsoever.

Thank you CR&PW&JB for your explanation. I was sure only some one from Wisc. would understand, but no, the answer comes from the land of my Father, beautiful Maryland!!

(pronounce in your best "lecturing a 4 year old" voice) That's Awfully Selfish, don't you think, sweetie? Think of how you would feel if someone posted that in 2004, 2005, or 2006 and you couldn't buy yours?

And if by "interference" that includes stopping dealer and manufacturer support for club events, warranties, etc perhaps that's going a bit too far...but as a flame-attractor, cinellipro (aka "Cheeseweasel", or maybe "Cat5") seems to have gone just far enough!

It's one step up on the insult scale from a cheeselog.

Etymologically speaking think Garden Weasel only of cheese. Except that makes even less sense. Sometimes situations just demand a new word.

It means many things to many peoples in many times. That is the beauty of the 'cheeseweasel'.

You're just not living in the right part of MD I guess.

I would say hurry and purchase now, because next month may be too late. In fact, I've heard from a very very reliable source that BMW is going to make the 2007's for only one year. That's enough to set me straight on my tracks. I hope this lesson does not arrive too late.

I share your selfish sentiment in that I enjoy having a unique car. I can't help but feel sympathy for all of those regular drivers out there that are completely missing out on the motoring experience, though.

Isn't that like saying "It's always in the last place you look!" ?

What if you don't find it, then stop looking? It's not in the last place you looked any more
